- The Landfill hours are from 7am-2:30 pm for large loads, and 2:45 pm for small loads
- The Household Hazardous Waste building is open by appointment only during the hours of 8am-2pm
- Call to schedule appointments for Household Hazardous Waste.
The FMC Landfill is located approximately 7 miles West of Elma, Iowa in between County Roads, Windfall and Addison Ave.
The physical address is 3354 330th Street Elma, IA 50628
The FMC Landfill accepts waste from Floyd, Mitchell, Chickasaw Counties and the towns of Elma and Chester in Howard County.
The FMC Landfill accepts Household waste, Construction & Demolition waste, Contaminated Soils, Non-friable Asbestos, Appliances, Truck/Car tires, Scrap metals, Recycling, Household Hazardous Waste and more.
