 Appliances are accepted at the landfill during our normal business hours without an appointment. There is a $12.00 per appliance charge. A partial list of what is considered to be an appliance follows:
  • Water Heaters  (water softeners are not considered appliances for disposal purposes)
  • Air Conditioners
  • Microwaves
  • Stoves
  • Refrigerators
  • Washers
  • Dryers
  • Dehumidifiers (humidifiers are not considered appliances for disposal purposes)
  • Freezers
  • Dishwashers
  • Garbage Disposals

Appliances must be cleaned out - they cannot contain food or any liquids.
Doors need not be removed.
Water Softeners and Humidifiers are not considered appliances.


There is a surcharge on demolished and/or burned out appliances as our recycler charges us more for these hard-to-handle items.
