Each household may contract with their choice of haulers. Area haulers available:

Individuals may also haul their own garbage to the Floyd-Mitchell Landfill. For further information, contact the City Clerk at 228-6069 or the landfill at 1-877-982-4288.

Voluntary drop-off bins are located on Main Street.

Items accepted include:

Less than 1 foot square (Flatten boxes)

Newspaper 

Magazines 

Junk Mail (including envelopes)

Mixed Paper (i.e. computer, office) 

Phone Books 

Paper Bags 

Plastic

(No plastic bags or lids)
