When winds reach 25 mph the Director will determine if waste can be contained. If not, regular haulers will be called and given the time of closing. If the Landfill closes before 1:00 pm it may reopen the next regular business day an hour early, at the Director's discretion. If you are not sure if we are open, call 877-982-4288 to confirm. If it is windy and you get the answering machine, we are probably closed. We are closed the following Holidays in 2010: Independence
