Ionia Garbage Collection Weekly curbside collection on Monday. Garbage bags will not be picked up unless the garbage is in bags marked Jendro Sanitation. For bag purchase locations and further information, contact City Hall at 641-394-3856.
Recycling Recyclables are collected the first and third Mondays.
Items accepted include: Cardboard Flatten boxes
Paper* Newspaper Magazines Junk Mail (including envelopes) Mixed Paper (i.e. computer, office) Phone Books Paper Bags (No plastic bags or lids)
Plastic #1 through #5, and #7 (No plastic bags or lids, styrofoam, or oil containers)
Glass Jars & Bottles only Separate,
not mixed with other recyclables
Metal Tin cans
