Lawler Garbage Collection

The City has a contract with Waste Management to provide weekly curbside collection on Friday. The City has a tote system where the residents can choose a 35, 64, or 96 gallon tote. bags can be purchased at City Hall if a resident has more garbage than will fit in the tote. Only garbage in Waste Management totes or bags will be picked up.

 

Individuals and businesses may also haul their own garbage, tires, appliances, televisions, and electronic waste to the Floyd-Mitchell Chickasaw Landfill located southeast of New Haven, or west of Elma.

 

Recycling

Recycling is the first and third Tuesday of each month. You can use Waste Management recycle bins or any clean garbage can. Separate paper and cardboard from plastic, metal and glass either by having two bins or cans, or by putting the paper and cardboard on top and the plastic, metal and glass in the bottom of one bin.

Yard Waste

The City has a Compost Site located on North Benz Street. Hours are Wednesday 5-7 pm and Saturday 9 am - Noon.
