Nashua Garbage Collection The city's weekly curbside collection is on Wednesday. Garbage will not be picked up unless the garbage is in the yellow bags marked Jendro Sanitation. For bag purchase locations and further information contact Jendro Sanitation at 228-3525 or the City Clerk at 435-4156.
Individuals and businesses may also haul their own garbage, tires, appliances, televisions, and electronic waste to the Floyd-Mitchell Chickasaw Landfill located southeast of New Haven, or west of Elma.
Recycling The city has a contract with Jendro Sanitation to provide curbside collection of recyclables the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.
Items accepted include: Paper Cardboard Newspaper (Flatten boxes) Magazines Junk Mail (including envelopes) Plastic Mixed Paper (i.e. computer, office) #1 through #5, #7 Phone Books (No oil containers) Paper Bags (No plastic bags or lids) Paperback Books Metal Glass Jars and Bottles only * Tin cansClear, Brown, and Green Aluminum Empty Aerosol Cans Pots and Pans
*NOTE: Glass must be separate from other recyclables.
